Manchester United top the table for the first time this year after late Dimitar Berbatov goal gave them their seventh 1-0 victory and an underserved three points against Bolton. United move above Liverpool by 1 point but Liverpool play everton in the Merseyside derby on tuesday morning.

Else where Dider Drogba was left out of the Chelsea squad that narrowly beat Stoke City 2-1 fuelling the speculation that he could be on his way to join up with former boss Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan.
