Premiership Race is Tight

Liverpool heaped more pressure upon their former Captain Paul Ince after three late strikes saw them beat Ince's Blackburn 3-1 at Ewood Park. The defeat was Blackburns fifth in a row and Ince is now hot favourite to be the next premiership manager out of the door.
Chelsea kept up the pressure on Liverpool by beating Bolton 2-0 with goals from Nicolas Anelka and a wonder goal from Deco.
Elsewhere, mnagerless Sunderland were unlucky against defending champions Manchester United. They battled hard for 90 minutes an injury time goal from Vidic snatched a 1-0 victory for United.
Manchester City's patchy form continued as they drew 1-1 with Fulham and Arsenal consoldated there fourth position in the ladder winning 1-0 at home to Wigan with a goal from Adebyor. Two goals from Michael Owen was not enough for Newcastle as they dreww 2-2 with Stoke City and Hull continued their great season with a 2-1 win over Middlesborough.
