Premier League could Go Broke

December 15th 2008 23:45
The Premier League clubs are going to have to take a good long look at themselves after reports have come out that between them they owe banks 10 billion GBP, a third of this debt is thought to be between Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

There is no doubt that the English league is the best in the world at the moment, but if they want to avoid the financial problems that face the Serie A a few years a go they have to stop throwing money they dodn't have at their teams. It's time for a wage cap I feel and a review of the trsansfer system. People will be up in arms about these ideas, but it is all about the good of the game.
