David Beckhams impressive performances at AC Milan have proved to the world that he is no where near a spent force in world football and left the Italian giants begging him to stay. Vice-President Adriano Galliani promises he will do “everything possible” to keep David Beckham. But is well aware of his commitment to his club the LA Galaxy “He is a Galaxy player and we can't kidnap him,” Galliani joked in La Gazzetta dello sport.
"I think he would like to stay, but I can only talk about the club's wishes and Milan will do whatever we can to keep Beckham until the end of the season or for good.
“There's hope, but contracts have to be honoured. The facts are clear - on March 9, Beckham must go back to America.
“On February 23 I will have been at Milan for 23 years and I have learned something in that time - a director's fate is related to the motivation of players more than his own actions,” he concluded.
