I am English. I am also a missive massive football fan and can only stand and admire class whan I see it on a football field. It is because of this that I am happy to see that the greatest footballer of all time, Diego Armando Maradona, is back in the game and am totally disappointed with his treatment from the original captain fantastic Terry Butcher. Butcher should be thanking Maradona for being able to share field with him that day in Mexico 1986, and witnessing the greatest ever goal in World Cup history first hand.
I am not condoning the hand of of god, but this is football there are literally hundreds of goals scored every week from hand balls of offside positions that is just the nature of the game, and if Buthcher is trying to say he has never been on the winning team from such a goal than he is just a lier. Maradona is one of the greatest and deserves respect.
