Steven Gerrard again saved Liverpool from the shit after the top of the table side found themselves 2-0 down against this years surprise package Hull City. Hull took the lead from a Paul McShane header and an own goal from Jamie Carragher, but a ten minute burst from Liverpools midfield maestro saved their blushes. A 2-2 home draw sees them 2 points clear of Chelsea who now have a game in hand to be played against West Ham later tonight.
Manchester Utd also faught out a frustrating draw against Tottenham Hotspur. United missed out on a great opportunity to close the gap on the top with Hrry Redknapps much improved side having the better of the match.
