Hamburg's Title Hopes Slipping Away

Hamburgs miserable run continued as they drew 1-1 away to struggling Bochum. They fell behind in the 39th minute when Stanislav Sestak put the hosts ahead. Ivica Olic equalized with 12 minutes to play, but Hamburg were unable to find the elusive winner. Hamburg now look like they are out of the running for the Budesliga title after setting the early pace.

Else where in the Bundesliga,former Liverpool Defender Marcus Babael gained his first victory as coach of Stuttgart with two late goals over Schalke.
