The January transfer window is certainly up and running. There has already been some big signings none more so than Tottenham buying Jermaine De foe for twice the price they sold him for just a year ago. But while all big money is being spent there is also a lot of secret bargin shopping going on as many big names will be available for free at the end of the season. The out of contract players are allowed to sign pre contracts with new clubs now and with players such as Fabbio Canavaro, Micheal Owen and Carlos Tevez all up for grabs there is bound to be a big scramble for their signatures.
