Feud Runs Deep

The Sun newspaper in England has reported that both Liverpool and Manchester United are hot on the heels of Ânderson Luis de Azevedo Rodrigues Marques, the Fluminense defender.
It is thought Anfield boss Rafael Benitez had been tracking the 21-year-old for quite some time before sending his scouts to Brazil late last year to gather a reading on his progress.
But now Sir Alex Ferguson seems to have taken a fancy to the Fluzăo stopper, a situation that will do nothing to improve the two managers' already icy relationship.
Liverpool reportedly want Ânderson as a buffer in case Daniel Agger pulls out of contract negotiations and asks to be sold to AC Milan, who recently had a bid for the Dane rejected.
United, on the other hand, are simply keen to unearth another exciting South American prospect to join the Da Silva twins in the Red Devils' rearguard.
Ânderson has just six months remaining on his contract at the Laranjeiras, and it could take as little as €3.5 million to snap him up this winter.
