Abramovich To Sell Up
February 2nd 2009 22:04
Chelseas season took a massive blow with Fernando Torres's two goals at Anfield. The defeat leaves them 5 points behind leaders Manchester United who have also played a game less. This dissapointing season has led to much speculation surrounding the clubs future as Scolari is tipped for the sack and owner Roman Abramovich disgruntled about not getting anything back for his investment tipped to sell up and move on. The Russian billionaire has denied these rumours, but how long can he really go on spending and spending without any success. If he does decide to call it a day at Stamford Bridge it will be a massive blow for Chelsea as they will struggle to find an owner with pockets just as deep as Roman's and may end up having to sell off a lot of their big name stars. It will also be a big blow for the Premiership as it will most certainly signal the end of one of its glamour clubs.
